About This Project

Serenity Shore is a complete transformation of a Sydney coastal townhouse, reimagined through a full-gut renovation and a carefully planned extension that expands both functionality and livability.
The goal was to create a deeply calming retreat with soft minimalism, sculptural forms, warm neutrals, and a strong connection to the surrounding coastal landscape.

Every space was rebuilt from the ground up: new flooring, new joinery, expanded layouts, and a refined material palette blending limestone, textural timber, creamy plaster, and natural light.
The result is a home that feels serene, cohesive, and quietly luxurious — a true sanctuary by the shore.

A soft, sculpted living space defined by curved architecture, creamy plastered walls, and a custom feature fireplace extending across the room. Textural upholstery, natural stone, and warm timber tones connect the interior to the coastal landscape visible through large openings.

Kitchen

The hero of the renovation — a stone-forward kitchen featuring heavily veined travertine, warm timber, generous storage, and a sculptural island with a curved waterfall detail. Subtle lighting and minimalist detailing make the space feel calm, high-end, and effortlessly functional.

Dining Area

A seamless extension of the kitchen, with a monolithic stone dining table, soft upholstered dining chairs, and subtle brass accents. The palette remains warm and coastal, ensuring flow across the open-plan layout.

A spa-like space defined by creamy limestone, large-format feature stone, an elegant freestanding bath overlooking the outdoors, and a double vanity with sculptural forms. Natural light softens the room, enhancing its quiet luxury.

Powder Room & Bathrooms

Each bathroom carries its own stone story — from richly veined basalts to layered travertines — but the tones remain cohesive. Custom vanities, niche lighting, and minimal hardware maintain the calming, contemporary language.

Makeup / Dressing Area

A soft and feminine space with a floating stone vanity, sheer curtains, warm lighting, and a signature timber stool. A personal retreat for slow mornings and calm evenings.

Walk-In Robe

A fully customized wardrobe with display-style joinery, soft timber tones, warm LED lighting, and a sculptural ottoman. Designed for both beauty and daily ease.
