Sunlit Retreat brings a serene, coastal-inspired calm into a busy Brisbane townhouse.
The owners wanted a kitchen that felt airy, sculpted, and uplifting—a space that would brighten mornings and feel effortless throughout the day.
Soft curves, pale timber textures, creamy stone, and subdued brass accents work together to create a timeless and easy-flowing space. The pantry and walk-in robe continue the same language of soft minimalism, delivering a cohesive feel across all three zones.
INTERIOR DESIGN OVERVIEW
Kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of the transformation—light, welcoming, and beautifully detailed. Curved joinery softens the long layout, while the fluted island introduces texture and visual rhythm. A creamy stone benchtop wraps seamlessly around the edges, paired with warm brass fixtures that elevate the minimal palette. Every element is designed to feel gentle and inviting.
Butler’s Pantry
Hidden behind an architectural archway, the pantry transitions into a more structured, organised zone while keeping the warm timber and brass tones. Open shelving, textural vertical tiles, and warm under-shelf lighting create a functional yet sculptural workspace.
WiR
Bright, spacious, and highly functional, the walk-in robe mirrors the home’s soft coastal palette. Soft-grain timber joinery, integrated lighting, and a full-height mirror create a calming dressing space with plenty of hidden organisation.
